CIS teachers are carefully selected for their expertise and commitment to nurturing each child's growth. Each staff member undergoes a rigorous screening process to meet our school's high standards. Our teachers are either native English speakers or fluent in English, with many being bilingual or trilingual to support our diverse student body. The majority of our educators are certified in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and many hold additional Montessori certifications, enriching our Montessori+ approach. All staff members are certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), covering CPR, AED use, choking response, and emergency first aid. Some team members also hold specialized training in anaphylaxis, EpiPen administration, food safety, asthma management, and child protection, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for every child.

CIS offers sibling discounts on tuition fees. Families enrolling multiple children receive a 20% discount for the second sibling and a 30% discount for the third child. Chuo International School offers daily, nutritious meals thoughtfully designed to meet students' dietary needs. Our menu features a variety of wholesome ingredients that support physical and cognitive growth, and we strictly accommodate allergies and food restrictions to ensure every child's safety. We prioritize healthy, appealing options that foster positive eating habits and promote overall well-being from an early age.

Regular school hours at CIS are from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. We offer a full day of structured lessons, interactive activities, and hands-on projects aligned with our Montessori+ and SDG learning approach. Our school day balances academic focus with creative exploration, ensuring students have a fulfilling educational experience.

Chuo International School offers a wide range of after-school club activities focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and sports, including ballet, karate, soccer, gymnastics, and more. These clubs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and engage with peers in a structured environment. Students participating in after-school activities finish their day around 5 pm, with pick-up available until 6 pm. After-school clubs are available at an additional cost; families are encouraged to inquire about the options that best align with their child's interests.

Chuo Int. School provides enriching seasonal programs during school breaks, including one week of winter school, one week of spring school, and an extended six-week summer program. These programs feature a blend of academic, creative, and recreational activities, allowing students to stay engaged and build on their skills outside the regular term. CIS requires students to wear the school uniform daily, promoting a sense of community and school pride. On designated P.E. days, students are expected to dress in their P.E. uniforms to ensure comfort and ease of movement during physical activities.
