Recruitment Practicies

Aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection.

Chuo International School will:

Verify references through live-contact checks with two references, including a direct supervisor.
Use only verified business emails and phone numbers for reference checks.
Confirm all certifications, degrees, and teaching licenses.
Require police background checks (犯罪経歴証明書) and online screenings.
Ensure mandatory child protection training for all staff.
Provide ongoing child protection updates and training.
