Welcome to
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a Montessori+ education enriched by the Cambridge International framework and the SDGs. We nurture curiosity, creativity, and resilience while guiding students to apply learning thoughtfully and ethically, cultivating each child’s potential in a community that is inclusive, supportive, and globally responsible.

Our History
Founded in 2016 in Tokyo, Sunshine Kids Academy began as a small international preschool. The Tokyo campus opened formally in 2020, followed by the Shin-Urayasu campus in 2021. In 2024, the Tokyo campus relocated to VORT Shintomicho. In 2025, the school launched its Lower Elementary pilot program, expanded extracurricular offerings, and continues to grow with a Montessori approach supported by a Cambridge-aligned curriculum and a strong SDG focus.
